• New (One-Way) Containers: These units are manufactured overseas and have made a single cargo voyage to South Africa. They are in pristine condition, have virtually no dents or rust, and offer the longest lifespan.

• Used (Cargo Worthy) Containers: These have spent years in international maritime service. They will show signs of wear, such as minor dents, surface rust, and mismatched paint, but they are completely wind and watertight, structurally sound, and structurally certified for transport or secure storage.

Container choice (CC) provides the following container standard available in stock and ready for shipping and delivery;

• 20-Foot Container: Measures approximately 6m long × 2.4m wide × 2.6m high. Ideal for residential storage, small site offices, or limited space.

• 40-Foot Container: Measures approximately 12m long × 2.4m wide × 2.6m high. Best for large commercial inventory, vehicle transport, or extensive modular conversions.

• Note: High Cube (HC) models are also available, which provide an extra 30cm of vertical headroom.

Ordering a shipping container from container choice (CC) is quick and straightforward:

• Step 1: Request a Quote: Click on our “Get a Quote” button, fill in your details, or contact us directly via phone or WhatsApp. Specify the size, type (e.g., standard, reefer, flat-pack), and whether you need new or used.

• Step 2: Receive Your Invoice: We will send you a detailed Invoice including the container cost and delivery fees (if required).

• Step 3: Payment & Confirmation: Once you accept the quote, payment is made via secure Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). As soon as the funds clear, your order is processed for preparation and dispatch. Thank you.

Yes, all prices quoted on our website are VAT Inclusive. 

To ensure security and keep processing costs low, our primary and preferred payment method is EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). We require payment to clear in our bank account as agreed before any container is released for modification, loading, or delivery. We do not accept cash on delivery (COD) for security reasons.

Delivery costs are calculated based on the distance from our nearest container depot to your delivery site, as well as the type of truck required. We deliver all over South Africa and Neighbouring countries. To get an accurate delivery quote, please provide your exact delivery address when contacting us.

Yes, delivery methods depend entirely on your site setup and on-site offloading capabilities:

• Flatbed / Skeletal Truck: This is the most economical option, but it does not have a crane. You must have a crane, forklift, or container-handler ready on your site to lift the container off the truck.

• Crane Truck / Side-Loader: If you do not have offloading equipment on-site, we will arrange a truck equipped with an integrated crane or side-lifter to safely lower the container directly to the ground for you.

• Standard Units: Untouched new or used containers are typically dispatched within 3 to 7 business days after payment reflects in our account, depending on transport scheduling.

• Custom Modifications / Reefers: If you require specialized customizations (like painting, adding doors/windows, or complex modular build-outs) or specialized testing for reefers, timeline estimates will be provided upfront with your quote (usually ranging from 7 to 14+ business days).

Absolutely. If you have your own logistics network or a certified container transport service, you are welcome to collect your unit directly from our designated depot. We will coordinate with your transport team regarding release notes, gate access, and loading times.
